ABOUT US

Denise Cutshaw, LMHC

 

Denise completed her undergraduate degree in psychology from Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina.  She then completed her Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from The University of Tennessee in Knoxville TN.

 

Clinical Experience

Denise is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and has been providing counseling services to the community since 2004.  She has worked in variety of settings providing therapy services to children, adolescents and adults.

Denise has been in private practice since 2010 where she focuses on seeing individuals and families.  Her previous experience includes working in a residential treatment center treating adolescents ages 13-18 and their families, intensive outpatient group therapy, community mental health, as well as home-based therapy. 

 

Therapeutic Approach

Denise believes in building a partnership with those she enters a therapeutic relationship with.  It is important to her to work collaboratively to develop a trusting relationship as well as meeting you where you are in your journey and where you'd like to go.

Denise provides therapy services from a variety of therapeutic interventions depending on the needs of the individual.  She is passionate about the work she does and strives to help individuals reach their full potential and meet their goals.  Denise understands the value of interpersonal and familial relationships and works to incorporate the support needs of the individual into therapy.  Denise uses supportive, collaborative,

encouraging, caring, and non-judgmental approaches to help individuals and families overcome any challenges or struggles.   Denise treats children 10 and older, adolescents, adults, and families. 

Denise provides the tools for self-healing in a very supportive and positive environment and she is looking forward to helping you reach your ultimate goals.

Jennifer Joseph, LCSW

Jennifer completed her undergraduate degree in social work from Saint Mary’s College in Notre Dame, Indiana.  She then completed her Master’s degree in social work with a focus in mental health, from Indiana University, Indianapolis.

Jennifer holds professional memberships with the National Association of Social Workers and the Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing International Association. 

Jennifer is EMDR Certified.


Clinical Experience
 

Jennifer is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and has been conducting therapy with children, adolescents, adults, and families for over fifteen years.  She has clinical experience providing therapy in various public, as well as private practice settings. 
 

Therapeutic Approach
 

Jennifer believes in healing through the process of building strong therapeutic relationships with her clients and changing damaging patterns of thought.  By means of a warm, supportive approach to therapy, Jennifer strives to provide quality, evidenced based services to assist individuals and families in the process of overcoming obstacles and accomplishing their goals.  Jennifer provides support, encouragement, and education to assist clients in using their existing strengths to create positive change in their lives. 
 
Through collaborative effort with her clients, Jennifer looks forward to helping provide individuals and/or families with the tools they need to meet their goals and bring about desired changes in their lives.  Currently, Jennifer is primarily treating adolescents and adults.
